I’m Mad at Robert Plant, and if You Love Led Zeppelin You Should Too

Is anyone else in this universe wondering why Robert Plant won’t join his two former band mates for one more go around. I myself don’t understand it. I know this sounds selfish, but I never got to see Zeppelin live and was only a toddler when they dissolvedthe band. He doesn’t need the money, I get that, and even if he did that isn’t the best reason to do it. In a recent interview with Katie Couric he said that he doesn’t know who that guy was in Led Zeppelin and he wants to do new things. I do understand that and respect it, but what he helped create is bigger than who he is. The three of those guys together a something that none of them can be individually.

To quote Spiderman, “with great power comes great responsibility”. There is nothing in this world more powerful musically than Led Zeppelin. Therefore, Robert needs to take his part in this and do a few shows. Is it too much to ask to give all the people who weren’t born yet a chance to see the greatest bands of all time. Come on, who has been buying all the Zeppelin records, tapes, and cds for the last 30 years? Where does the money go? I’m sure Mr. Plant sees plenty of it.

I know this is opinionated and a little lighthearted, but in all seriousness, does anyone agree with me when it comes down to it?
