Paul Rudd Joins Rush on Stage for YYZ in Kansas City

If you are a Rush fan you know that Paul Rudd is too. They have even shared the screen in Rudd’s movie ‘I Love You Man’, in 2009. Rudd can also be seen alongside the band members in a Funny or Die video that closed the shows on Rush’s 2010-11 Time Machine Tour.

The fact that Rudd is from Kansas City, also probably played a role in his appearance as well.  It was the final show from their nearly year long Clockwork Angels Tour, and some Rush fans say it was one of the best shows they’ve ever seen.

YYZ was the next to the last song of the set, and they played it as well as I’ve ever heard it. Rudd can be seen about half way through the video, and you can hear the crowd go wild. You can even hear one fan shout ‘It’s Paul Rudd!”. Long live rock ‘n’ roll and long live Rush!
